New York Rowing is pleased to offer a Boys summer development program for those rowers looking to take their rowing skills to the next level. Boys must have at least a year of rowing experience. This eight week session has been created for any rising varsity and existing varsity level rowers who want to increase their technical skill, strength and fitness.
We hope that rowers will take advantage of this opportunity to further hone their rowing skills and increase their speed.
Dates: June 25th, 2012- August 17th, 2012
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 5:30-7:30am
Saturdays - 5:30-8am
Target Regattas:
July 21st Philadelphia Youth Regatta
July 11th-15th Club Nationals
August 5th-12th Canadian Henley
Cost: $600*
*Regatta and travel fees not included in seasonal fee.

Uniforms
All rowers who plan on racing this summer are required to wear NRRC uniforms. The NRRC uniform store will be open June 15th through the 25th. It is opening before the first day of the season because our first regatta is Club Nationals on July 11th and this was the only way to guarantee that our unis will be ready on time (all other apparel is not guaranteed by the 11th). At least one uni, and hat are required for each rower who plans to race. All other items listed are optional purchases.
At the JL Team Store site, you can use your own credit card to order required team uniform items as well as training gear. Items will all be individually packaged and shipped to Coach Larry so everyone saves on shipping and we get bulk prices. Coaches will then distribute. Everyone MUST get their order in by noon (PST) Monday, June 25th. If you miss the store closing date, you will need to order your uniform as an individual order. Individual orders prices and shipping will be different than a team purchase and are NOT guaranteed before our first race.
